Intercity Xpress Coaches (Pty) Ltd, or Intercity Xpress as we are generally known, is a modern, dynamic and exciting addition to the South African luxury coach market, providing clients and passengers with a service of unequalled quality and professionalism.

Intercity Xpress has its roots deeply established in the passenger transport industry by virtue of its association with its parent company, Hire-a-Bus. For more than thirty years Hire-a-Bus has provided South Africa's community and industries, with quality transportation. Passengers have included overseas tourists on safari, corporate conference excursions, spectator groups and sports teams.

Today, our combined fleet consists of more than 100 vehicles and covers on average 6 million kilometres per year. Intercity Xpress operates from its depot in Dunswart, Johannesburg which is situated 13 kilometres from the Johannesburg International Airport and offers four key services:
