October has brought more reasons to get on the road with Intercity Xpress.
From new destinations and growing travel connections to extra BusBucks rewards, we're making it easier to stay connected to the people and places that matter.
Whether you're travelling home, heading to work, visiting family or planning your next adventure, there's plenty happening this month.
New Routes. More Places to Go.
Every new route means another opportunity to travel, reconnect and discover somewhere different.
Intercity Xpress continues to expand its network across South Africa, creating more convenient connections between major cities, regional towns and the communities along the way.
This October, we're putting the spotlight on two exciting additions to our growing network.
Discover Upington
Our Northern Cape connections bring more travel options to Upington, including journeys between Cape Town and Upington. Whether you're visiting family, travelling for work or exploring the region, there's another way to get there.
Acornhoek & Bushbuckridge
We're also connecting more travellers to Acornhoek and Bushbuckridge in Mpumalanga. These new travel options help bring communities closer and make important journeys more accessible.
Routes and available departures may vary, so always check current schedules when planning your journey.
October Means Double BusBucks
Why travel without making your journey count towards the next one?
Throughout October 2026, qualifying Intercity Xpress journeys can earn Double BusBucks points, giving registered members even more reason to travel.
Double the Points. More Reasons to Travel.
Whether you're heading home, visiting someone special or travelling for business, your eligible journeys can help you build rewards towards future travel.

Your Next Journey Starts with a Little Planning
With the final months of the year approaching, now is a great time to start thinking about upcoming family visits, work trips and festive-season travel.
A little preparation can make the journey much easier:
- Book ahead: Secure your preferred travel dates before popular departures fill up.
- Check your departure details: Confirm your route, boarding point and departure time.
- Keep important details close: Have your identification and booking reference ready.
- Allow enough time: Arrive at your boarding point before your scheduled departure.
- Travel informed: Follow our official channels for updates and announcements.
More Than Destinations. More Possibilities.
For us, adding a route is about much more than putting another destination on a map.
It's about helping someone get home. Making it easier to visit family. Connecting students to opportunities. Giving travellers more choice when planning the journeys that matter.
As our network grows, so do the possibilities.
And wherever the road takes you next, Intercity Xpress is ready to be part of the journey.
